The GOFAR device goes in your vehicle's OBD2 port. This is the same port that mechanics use to plug in their on board diagnostic tools when you take your car in for a service.
It usually is above the pedals and below the steering wheel and it looks like this.
Sometimes it is in a different location - but it is nearly always in positions 1, 2 or 3.
If you can't find it within a minute then you can try Google, Youtube or 
If your OBD port is behind a removable panel, simply remove the panel, plug in GOFAR, and replace it.
GOFAR is one of the smallest OBD2 devices available so this will usually work.
