With regular GOFAR customers they can see the score board, their braking and acceleration score and get real time feedback on driving from the Ray.
The standard GOFAR software however has been specially modified for the SIRA trial and doesn’t function in exactly the same way as the commercial product.
Essentially different driver groups on the Young Driver Research Project get different levels of information and driver feedback.
This has been done to see how different groups perform with different information and feedback which will help us understand how best to reduce accidents with the strongest statistical evidence.
Please note that we may add different information and feedback schemas for drivers later in the trial.
